In today’s fast-paced world of industry and production, innovation has become a crucial element for success. Moravia Cans, known for producing the lightest aerosol cans on the market, took a significant step forward by embracing Industry 4.0 principles, positioning itself as a leader in modern automation. Through an ambitious collaboration with Teramex, Siemens, and Kuka, they have created a revolutionary solution that is transforming their manufacturing processes.
Innovation at the Heart of Production
Since its inception, Moravia Cans has focused on research, development, and innovation in the field of aerosol cans. With a commitment to enhancing product quality and optimizing production efficiency, the company is investing in the implementation of Industry 4.0. This includes not only advanced technological processes but also efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and ensure product sustainability.
“Our goal is to provide customers with products that are not only of high quality but also environmentally friendly,” says a Moravia Cans representative. “That’s why we’ve implemented advanced control systems and minimized human errors.”
Transformation with Teramex
For Moravia Cans, automating palletizing processes was crucial. Teramex, a leader in the field, was selected as the strategic partner to implement this innovation. Currently, more than half of Moravia Cans’ production lines are fully automated, representing a major step towards more efficient production. The automation covers the entire palletizing process, from pallet stacking to placing cardboard spacers and transporting pallets to the packing line. This has eliminated manual labor and significantly boosted production efficiency.
Partnership at the Highest Level
“Choosing the right partner is key. Together with Siemens and Kuka, we’ve developed a technological solution that meets the most demanding requirements of our customers.”
Siemens and Kuka were also involved in the project, contributing their expertise and technology. Siemens provided cutting-edge technological solutions, enabling the digitalization of production lines on the Industrial Edge platform, which resulted in higher productivity and safety, all within the user-friendly TIA portal. Kuka contributed robots equipped with vacuum grippers, ensuring precise handling of products and spacers.
Looking to the Future
Thanks to the successful collaboration between Moravia Cans, Teramex, Siemens, and Kuka, significant progress has been made in automation and sustainability. These new technologies not only increase efficiency but also contribute to environmental protection. This project demonstrates how strong partnerships and innovative approaches can transform industrial processes and set new standards in manufacturing.
Teramex is proud to have been part of this groundbreaking project and looks forward to future opportunities to bring innovation and improvements to the industry. As technology continues to evolve and sustainability demands grow, Teramex will keep seeking new ways to improve manufacturing processes and contribute to the development of Industry 4.0.
